Music & Mayhem - Jahida Esperanza

Music & Mayhem is a safe space where K-12 students of all races, religions, colors, creeds, and sexual orientations can learn music and be creative online, while having fun!

Have you been looking for an experienced, energetic, engaging, and certified music teacher to teach your kids music in LIVE classes weekly from the comfort of your own home? Look no further! All classes are cross-curricular; math, science, history, social studies, and language arts are embedded in each class!

Fun & Fancy Feet

Half of the class will be foundational music literacy and the other half will be application through play, singing, and games. Students will learn pitch matching, solfege with Curwen hand signs, high/low, same/different, fast/slow, soft/loud, singing in a round, beat, rhythm, dynamics, phrases, and most notes and rests.

Students will learn all about an instrument and their instrument family on Tuesday and then will make a homemade version on Thursday!
